During one of the most difficult and heartbreaking times in our lives, they provided our family with a level of compassion, professionalism, and genuine care that we will never forget. From the very beginning, Bree and Jake made us feel like our dad, Daniel Haws, was so much more than simply someone in their care. They treated him and our entire family with incredible dignity and respect. Every question was answered, every detail was handled thoughtfully, and we never once felt rushed. Their kindness was genuine, and they made an incredibly difficult process feel manageable. My dad was a proud veteran, and honoring his service to our country was extremely important to our family. Bree and Jake understood the significance of that and went above and beyond to ensure his military service was recognized with the dignity and respect he deserved. The care they put into honoring that part of his life meant more to us than I can adequately put into words. Losing a parent is something you are never truly prepared for, but having the right people beside you makes an enormous difference. Bree and Jake were those people for us. They allowed our family to focus on grieving, remembering, and celebrating our dad while they quietly made sure every detail was taken care of. I will forever be grateful for the way Ottawa Funeral Home cared for Daniel Haws, honored him as a veteran, and supported our family through one of the hardest moments of our lives. Bree and Jake are truly exceptional at what they do, and our family will never forget them. I would recommend Ottawa Funeral Home without hesitation. My wife, Marion was involved in helping arrange a friend's funeral and found the staff at Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory to be very professional and extremely helpful; one could tell they really cared about helping you make the right decision for your loved one and answered all her questions. In addition, they asked several questions of their own to make sure they understood what she wanted. We thank all of them for their help at a very difficult and confusing time. Their care and guidance helped make a this difficult situation easier to navigate.
